Workers at the Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library are entering their fourth week of the strike, making this one of the longest library workers’ strikes in Ontario history. While the Library CEO, Matthew Corbett, has had wage hikes of more than 10%, these workers’ wages don’t pay the bills. That’s why they are asking for livable wages and job security.
