Day of Mourning April 28, 2022

August 2, 2022

This years event was held in person in Barrie at City Hall. It is the labour movement’s most solemn day of remembering those who died or were injured in the workplace. We call on our governments to prevent future tragedies as we mourn the dead and fight for the living. Guest speakers included, BDLC President Michele MacDonald, Barrie’s Deputy Mayor Barry Ward, OFL President Patty Coates, and WHSC Representative Ross Riddell. A thank you to everyone who came out in solidarity.
